Seiji Sugiman-Marangos Rising Star 3 post-fight interview

After two hard-fought rounds at Rising Star 3, Seiji Sugiman-Marangos (4-1) took Brett Portieous (2-2) down in the 3rd, delivering a barrage of ground-and-pound on way to a TKO finish. I spoke to the thoughtful 26 year-old featherweight after about taking the fight on short notice, underestimating his opponent, Portieous’s toughness, and how his conditioning fared given the fight’s fast pace.
