Post-Fight Interview w/ UGC 26 main event winner Ali Nestor

After Ali Nestor (7-5) put an end to UGC 26‘s main event by delivering a vicious flying elbow to Tim Skidmore (3-18), I spoke with him about why he waited for the 2nd round to engage, why he fought an opponent with a 3-17 record, what kept him going after suffering 5 consecutive losses early in his career, how he’d deal with losing in front of his fans and students, and what he’s got left to prove at 37.

Nestor and Skidmore seemed reluctant to engage for much of the 1st round.

Despite Nestor's vicious finish, relations w/ Skidmore back-stage after the fight were cordial.

Nestor (bald head, center) was joined in the ring by his Ness Martial Arts Academy students after the fight
