Ali Nestor (6-5 MMA) will fight in UGC 26‘s main event tonight. I spoke with him after the weigh-in Thursday, where he told me why he’s back in MMA after two and a half years, what boxing organizations can learn from the UFC, how his charity (Ali et les Princes de la Rue) is using martial arts to help teens in St-Michel, and how the Quebec scene has changed since he began his career in 2000.

Ali Nestor Charles is also a boxer, with a record of 10-5-2. He is the Canadian super-middleweight, and Quebec middleweight champion. Nestor is also the president of the UGC.
