Summum returns for a third event in Brossard (includes full fight card)

Brossard – Summum MMA 3 goes down Saturday, March 12th.  The amateur event will be headlined by a lightweight bout pitting amateur prospect Alex Morgan against Eric Davidson, a fighter looking to make a comeback seven years after his last professional fight.

Morgan is 7-1 in his amateur career, and fights out of Team ChambodieDavidson sports an 0-7 pro record, last fighting professionally in March 2004, when he suffered a TKO loss at UGC 7.  Since re-starting his MMA career, he’s gone 1-1 in amateur fights.

Dufort (black shorts) gained a victory via guillotine over Neil Sheppard at Fightquest 16.

Michael Dufort (6-1 amateur) will also feature on the card.  The 17 year-old from St-Jean is on a tear, pulling off three first-round submission victories over the last six weeks.  After gaining an upset victory over Neil Sheppard at Fightquest 16, he also avenged his only loss last Saturday at Ultimaction 1.  He rear-naked choked Joel Tessier in under a minute.

Jeff Blake (Razor Wear) will look for another win after pulling off a majority decision against Jeremy Mcnamara at Summum 2.  He’ll face off against Junior Lauziere of Fight Club St-Jean.

D'arcy Monson (red gloves) extends his arm bar against Jonathan Pivin at Summum 2.

Welterweight D’Arcy Monson will look to follow up his Summum 2 arm-bar victory over Jonathan Pivin when he faces off against Michael Cyr of Ultimaction.

Fighters from twelve different fight gyms will participate in the event.  Four fighters are returning from Summum 2, all from the Razor Wear team.  Besides Blake and Monson, Zander Macomber and Mohamed Sylla are also back.
