Interview w/ Michel ‘Mitch’ Gagnon, Ringside Featherweight Champion

Mitch’ Gagnon (6-1) is set to put his featherweight title on the line April 9th at Ringside 10.  The holder of six first-round submissions will go up against the undefeated Rejean Groulx (5-0) in a five round bout.  I spoke with Gagnon backstage at Summum MMA 2, where he told me  he’ll have the upper hand wherever the fight goes, why fighting at the Bell Centre won’t faze him, his hopes of getting into the UFC‘s 145 pound weight division, and his plans to beat Groulx. (9:49, in 2 parts)

All six of Gagnon's victories came via first round submission - four guillotines, and two rear-naked chokes.
