Late Round Flurry: Why Strikeforce’s HW tournament format is a winner for fans

MtlMMA is happy to announced the addition of Late Round Flurry to its website, a new weekly audio editorial column featuring long time MMA observer ‘Downtown’ Dave Brown.  He’ll be taking a look at wider issues in the world of MMA.

Strikeforce‘s heavy tournament is set to begin February 12th, with quarter-final fights pitting Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, and Andrei Arlovski vs. Sergei Kharitonov.

‘Downtown’ Dave Brown tells us why Strikeforce‘s tournament is a winner for fans, and why he doubts the UFC will ever adopt the matchmaking format.
